1863 index has three Majale fathers (Nicolò, Luciano, Ignazio). 1864 atto 216 is not Maria. Target baby Nicolò still unfound.

What the index seemed to say
A first pass on pag. 495 read a line as: 216 — Majale Maria — Luciano / Matta Baglio — 26 9bre (26 Nov 1864). That reading is still unverified at high resolution. The 216 = act number part is now known to be wrong.

So atto 216 is not Maria Majale. The November window that matches “26 9bre” (acts ~413–430) has no Majale heading either. Acts 431–432 (images 438–439) are the last possible late-November slots before December.
⚪ Not Nicolo. Wrong sex even if the Maria line is real. Nicolo’s age 49 in 1911 is from the Triangle fire Red Cross Case 53 — see Triangle — so birth nearer 1862 than 1864.
