Pierce (Ebenezer Pierce's daughter — 🟡 "Ebenezer Pierce" too common a name to confirm which specific Pierce family this is beyond the marriage record itself).
The Barnes "brick wall" — resolved
John Barnes (1708–1804, Lackawaxen, Pike Co., PA) has a genuinely well-documented life (1790 census, 1793 PA militia record) but his listed "parents" — a John Barnes born in London in 1713, 5 years after his supposed son — are a data error, not real. 🔴 Delete this link (see debunked-myths.md). The real brick wall is that John Barnes (1708)'s own parentage is genuinely unknown/undocumented before Lackawaxen.

Jeremiah Barnes (John's son, 1767–1839) m. Elizabeth Reeves (1767–1869, d. age 102 — 🟡 verify against original mortality schedule) — 1793, Lackawaxen, PA. Elizabeth's ancestry traces cleanly:

The Greenwich Tea Burning connection
🟢 Abraham Reeves's daughter Sarah Reeves m. Alexander Moore Sr.; their son Alexander Moore Jr. was one of the 23 documented participants in the Dec. 22, 1774 Greenwich Tea Burning — New Jersey's answer to the Boston Tea Party. Source: Frank Andrews' 1908 Tea-Burners of Cumberland County. This makes Alexander Moore Jr. your ancestor's (Deacon John Reeves') nephew — a collateral cousin, not direct ancestor.
